About the Annual FATE Institute Policy Dialogue Series on Entrepreneurship
The Annual Policy Dialogue Series on Entrepreneurship Program is hosted by the FATE Institute of FATE Foundation, which is the Foundation's research, policy, and advocacy division leading innovative thinking and creating platforms to enable idea exchange and problem-solving strategies to foster sustainable entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
The Dialogue brings together key policy stakeholders within Nigeria’s entrepreneurship ecosystem for conversations based on data insights from the FATE Institute.
Conversations focus on findings from our reports using an in-depth explorative approach, resulting in key agreements and recommendations that drive innovative approaches to entrepreneurship policy design, review, and implementation.
Over the last decade, the Dialogue Series has grown into a respected agenda-setting forum focused on amplifying research-based insights and developing strategic, policy-relevant solutions for the growth and sustainability of entrepreneurship in Nigeria. Previous editions have catalyzed reforms such as tax amnesty windows, improved ease of doing business, and more inclusive entrepreneurship strategies.
As FATE Foundation celebrates over two and a half decades of entrepreneurship development in Nigeria and the African continent, discussions at the 11th Policy Dialogue Series will explore Nigeria’s Industrialization journey since independence, critically examining the role of MSMEs in Nigeria’s industrialization agenda, identify policy and ecosystem gaps limiting MSME integration into industrial value chains, and showcase key lessons from successful enterprise-to-industry transitions.
This dialogue takes place during the Global Entrepreneurship Week in November.
